Hello Shawdian. I am looking forward to your blog on GBS. In her youth my late Grandmother use to listen to Mr Shaw when he was on his Sunday talk on the box at Hyde Park in London. When I was a little girl She said she was sweet on him because of his lovely gentle voice and his good Irish looks! He spoke up for the workers and my Grandmother who was working as a housemade in a big London house liked literature. She spent her hard earned wages on Shaw’s books and pamphlets. I still have some of them which are precious because Grandma loved them so much. Your blog has brought it all back to me now. Thank you and Mr Shaw! PS I like your name!
Thank you Edith. What a lucky Grandma!
